CCFT Course Refund/Rescheduling Policy

The statement below applies to the following courses offered through The Early Education Station, Inc.:

CCFT: Introduction to the Child Care Profession (Revised 2024) - Blended
CCFT: Skills & Strategies for the Child Care Teacher (Revised 2024) - Blended
CCFT: Fundamentals of Infant & Toddler Care (Revised 2024) - Blended
CCFT: Fundamentals of Family Child Care (Revised 2024) - Blended

A 50% refund will be provided if we are contacted at least 8 days before the first Zoom meeting. No refunds will be given if we receive less than 8 days notice. No refunds for no shows.

CCFT Course Policies

Students must complete all required coursework (listed below) by the final due date provided by their instructor in order to receive a certificate:

Required Zoom Meetings (Dates & times are listed in registration, students must attend & participate in every Zoom meeting for the full session, with their cameras on)
Online Coursework, including Required Activities
Final Assessment
Additional Trainings (if applicable for the course you are taking)
Course Evaluation

Who do I make checks payable to?

Can we use one order form to order several courses for our staff?

How long does it take to receive my order?

Orders are shipped within 2 business days from purchase date. You should receive your order within a week of purchase. We ship first class or priority. If you need your order rushed you will need to pay the extra shipping charge which will be determined at the time of shipping. If choosing to have your order rushed you will need to provide a credit card that will be charged when we find out the extra shipping charge.

What do I need to do to complete my course?

Each Booklet Based Continuing Education course has a reading portion/book and a worksheet. You need to complete the worksheet portion and return it to us. Please keep the reading materials for your reference.

For our Online Continuing Education courses, registration and payment will be completed through the Wisconsin Registry. Once you have purchased the class you will access the online class by logging in to your WI Registry account, under your personal profile page go to the "Upcoming Training Events" and click on the name of the class. This will open a page where you will click on the "E-Learning" tab. This is where you will access and complete the online class.

For the Entry Level CCFT courses, course materials, requirements and deadlines will be emailed to you 2 days before the first Zoom meeting and must be completed at the direction of your instructor. Rosters typically close a week after your last Zoom meeting and all course work must be turned in by the deadlines given to you by your instructor.

When do I receive a certificate for my course & where can I find it?

If you completed a Booklet Based Continuing Education course a certificate will be issued through our office within a week of receiving your completed course worksheet.

If you completed an Online Continuing Education course, completion records are automatically updated in your WI Registry account.

Visit wiregistry.org and log into your account
Scroll down to the "Reporting" section
Click on "View Reports"
Click on "Training List" or "Learning Record" to see your verified completions

If you have completed a CCFT Entry Level course (Introduction to the Child Care Prof. etc.) you will receive a certificate of completion from The WI Registry electronically. To access your certificate, follow these steps:

Visit wiregistry.org and log into your account.
Scroll down to the "Reporting" section
Click on "View Reports"
Click on "Child Care Foundational Training Certificate(s)."

The Early Education Station, Inc. submits CCFT course completion records to UWM's PDN (Professional Development Network) within 48 hours of the course deadline. PDN sends completion records to the WI Registry weekly on Wednesdays.

How much time do I have to complete my courses?

Our Booklet Based Continuing Education courses in the hours 2, 4, 6, & 8 hours do not have an expiration date.

Our Online Continuing Education courses will expire and you will lose access 90 days from enrollment date.

The School Age Assistant Child Care Worker Course and the 15 Hour Child Care Administrator/Director Course both have an expiration of 90 days from purchase.

Entry level CCFT Courses such as Introduction to the Childcare Profession, Skills & Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, Fundamentals of Infant & Toddler Care, and Fundamentals of Family Childcare have varying deadline timeframes. View our Entry Level Courses tab to see our CCFT Course offerings and the meeting dates & times. Students will have a week after the last Zoom session to complete all course requirements.
