I would let the parents know the importance of free play and how it helps with development. Free play is a way for providers to observe children and allows them to introduce new materials to free play that will enhance a child’s development.

Free Play is a tool for developing a child as a whole. It’s important for healthy brain development, allowing children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, cognitive and physical abilities.
