Computers and computer software can ease the administrative tasks and enhance the creativity of childcare programs. Childcare administrative software programs are easy to learn and use and allow operators to manage invoicing and bookkeeping as well as student and classroom data. Software programs designed for use by children can reinforce literacy, creativity, and motor skills. Both of these features enhance the management of the childcare center.

Conflict is a fact of everyday life for adults as well as children. The way in which we deal with the conflict in our lives has a direct impact on our happiness and quality of life. Disagreements may be unavoidable but the destructive effects of unmanaged conflict are not. Unresolved conflicts can cause negative physical symptoms such as headaches, muscle tension, tightness in the chest, hives and rapid heart rate. Many of these symptoms are due to unexpressed anger. It's possible to resolve the conflict in our lives without internalizing anger or directing it outward and causing hurt to others. Managed conflict is a healthy way to bring important issues to light and strengthen your relationships with other people in your life.

For infants and toddlers, supportive relationships with parents, caregivers, and others are necessary for physical survival as well as healthy social and emotional development. Relationships are the way that children come to know the world and their role in it. They provide the foundation of love and trust necessary to comfort, protect, and encourage children. It is through relationships that children develop social and emotional health, which includes the ability to play, form satisfying connections with others, communicate, learn, overcome challenges, and experience emotions. Nurturing relationships are crucial for the development of trust, empathy, compassion, generosity, and conscience.
